A storybook? Like 'The Cat in the Hat?'

Setting the scene: So, it's midnight, and I'm in bed trying to sleep when I get slammed with an idea (which, is technically 2 ideas, now, but I'm going to focus on the first). I honestly have no idea where it came from, why it chose now, or, frankly, whether anyone cares. I also know that ALL week I have been trying to write fandom_stocking drabbles and it has been like pulling teeth and then I knock this out in 30mins or less. *sigh*

Big Adventure

So, a few hours after this time tomorrow I will be off on my big adventure with Miss M, Ellen and Lee to visit New Zealand.

Haven't been there before, but I am terribly excited. We're going with a tour group, visiting both islands and doing lots of fun activities (seriously, we've been going over the list of extra activities, picking out what we're going to do!).

For me, I am scenic flights and helicopter rides all the way. Plus, the heli-hike at Fox Glacier!

Ladies and gents I will be entering Middle-Earth a very pretty country.

(And, I am going to add, I don't jump out of, or off, perfectly good bridges or planes, and I certainly do no traverse potentially dangerous waters.)

Of course, I am a history, museum/gallery, scenic traveller. The simple things make me happy.

I don't know if I'll get another chance to post before I go away for 2.5 weeks, so I thought I'd just mention it now.

I'll have LOTS of photos and stories when I get back.
