Pretty! What do we blow up first?

I've been absent again, which I don't really like, but it's been so hectic.

I started my new (teaching) job last Wednesday, with 3 pupil-free days for meetings, PD and planning. Plus lots and lots of classroom decorating. lots of photos here.



Tomorrow my kids start school and it's their very first day (I have a Prep class). I am so, SO nervous. Really starting to freak out now. All that nonsense about not feeling ready or good enough is not productive, but I can't help it!

I hope that I do a good job. I really do. And I hope the kids like me.

Is that shallow?

Oh well. I will quietly freak out for the rest of today.
